About us...

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
If you are a church based youth leader or someone who would like to get involved with Christian youth work in association with DESIRE here are some of the ways that it might be possible.
PRAYER TIMES
Those from the desire network who are able to attend get together every two weeks to pray for each other ,and for the youth in this area. We pray for our schools work and any other youth work that we are involved with.
HELPING WITH EVENTS
The DESIRE network also meet regularly to encourage one another and organise outreach events to both Christian and none Christian youth. We aim to organise one event a term following the old three term system.
We always need help to run our youth events. Everything from setting-up and taking down, right through to serving refreshments. If you'd like to get involved then drop us an email.
SCHOOLS WORK
Members of the DESIRE network work together to provide lunch clubs and Christian groups at Fitzharrys School, Larkmead School & John Mason School in Abingdon. If you have contact with a secondary school who would like a Christian club to be set up, or have any ideas on this subject, then please get in touch.
For more information or if you want to be added to our mailing list then contact:
